What are your hours?

We’re here for you Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

How long are sessions?

Our sessions typically last 50-60 minutes, giving you the time you need to explore your concerns.

How much do you charge?

  • Individual therapy: $175.00 per session

Do you take insurance?

We are in-network with Aetna and Cigna. If you have out-of-network benefits, we provide a monthly superbill for reimbursement. Contact your insurance to verify coverage.

Why would I choose to pay private pay instead of using my insurance benefits?

Private pay ensures your privacy and allows you more freedom in managing your therapy without the need for a diagnosis or insurance approval.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

Start with a free phone consultation to discuss your concerns and ensure we’re a good fit. If we agree to proceed, we’ll schedule your first session.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges. Missed appointments will be charged the full session fee.

How much paperwork do I have to fill out?

After scheduling your first appointment, you'll receive an intake form and consent documents via email. These will be reviewed in your first session.

What can I expect in a first session?

We’ll spend this time getting to know you, assessing your strengths, and discussing what brings you to therapy. This helps us create a personalized treatment plan for your success.

With whom do you work?

I primarily help adults dealing with anxiety and trauma, including domestic violence, community violence, and migration-related trauma.

What is your approach?

I offer a safe space to express your emotions, using techniques like EMDR, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Family Systems Therapy, Gottman Method and more to meet your specific needs.

How long will it take?

Most clients find 12 sessions effective, but every healing journey is unique and may vary.

Will I have homework?

Possibly! Homework helps you practice new skills outside of sessions and is tailored to your goals.

How often will we need to have a session?

Sessions are typically held once a week, based on your needs.
