Where is your office located?

We provide virtual services throughout Florida and are located in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Do you offer online counseling?

All of our services are through a secure platform at the comfort of your home. This will save you time and traveling expenses. All you need is an electronic device, such as a tablet, cell phone, or computer with access to the internet.

What are your hours?

We are open Monday-Saturday from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes.

How much do you charge?

The fee for individual therapy is $175.00 and for family therapy the fee is $200.00

Do you take insurance?

No, but if you have Out of Network benefits in your insurance, I will be able to provide you with a monthly superbill. You can contact your insurance plan to verify if you have Out of Network coverage.

Why would I choose to pay private pay instead of using my insurance benefits?

Private pay works for my clients, as their privacy is a priority. Additionally they have the freedom in using the services based on how they desire to use the services. Also, private pay does not require a label or name of a disorder to be attached to you.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

A phone consultation will be scheduled to make sure we are able to work together. And to make sure I can help you with your current concerns. Once the consultation is completed and we find that we are a good fit, we will schedule our initial appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance and the session will not be charged. If the appointment is missed, the full fee will be charged to the credit/debit card on file.

How much paperwork do I have to fill out?

Once you schedule your initial appointment, I will send your paperwork via email.
You will complete an intake form. You will be required to sign forms related to your rights and responsibilities, practice policies and consent for services. Your forms will be reviewed with you at your first appointment, and you are also welcome to call if questions come up, as you complete the forms.

What can I expect in a first session?

The initial session will be to get to know you better and assess what brings you to therapy. I will also assess your strengths and current coping skills. This will help me create a better treatment plan for you to be successful. Additionally, your forms will be reviewed, to make sure that you understand your rights and expectations in treatment.

With whom do you work?

I primarily work with adults experiencing various levels of anxiety and may have trauma history, such as, exposure or history of domestic violence, community violence, interpersonal violence, child abuse, trauma history, sexual abuse, trauma related to migration journey and trauma related to refugee status.

What is your approach?

When we are in therapy, my main goal is to help you move through the challenges. I provide you with a space where your feelings and emotions will be heard. I draw from the various modalities, such as EMDR therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Structural Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Positive Parenting and Gottman Method, in order to help your needs.

How long will it take?

Treatment typically takes 12 sessions to complete, however, every person’s healing journey is different.

Will I have homework?

It all depends on your treatment goals and presenting problems. But, I do believe in homework, as most of the challenges occur outside of therapy. My goal is for you to learn the tools you need in order to overcome the challenges.

How often will we need to have a session?

Sessions are typically once a week.
