Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your office located?

Our therapy practice is based in Palm Beach County, Florida, and we proudly offer virtual counseling to clients across the entire state of Florida. You can access high-quality mental health support from the comfort and privacy of your home.

Do you offer online counseling?

Yes! We provide 100% online therapy through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Virtual sessions make it easy and convenient to receive professional care without commuting—just log in with any device connected to the internet.

What are your hours?

We offer appointments Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, making it easy to fit therapy into your schedule.

How long are therapy sessions?

Most sessions are 50–60 minutes, giving you the time and space needed to work through your concerns at a comfortable pace.

How much does therapy cost?

  • Individual Therapy: $175 per session
  • Family Therapy: $200 per session

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we are in-network with Aetna and Cigna.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we provide a monthly superbill to help you request reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.

Why choose private pay instead of insurance?

Private pay offers greater privacy, avoids diagnoses being shared with insurance, and gives you more control over your therapy. This means no labels, no session limits, and no waiting for approval.

How do I schedule my first appointment?

Start with a free phone consultation to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll set up your first session and begin your treatment journey.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Missed or late-canceled sessions are billed at the full session rate.

How much paperwork is required?

Once your first session is scheduled, you’ll receive your intake forms and consent documents via email. We’ll review everything together during your initial appointment.

What can I expect in my first therapy session?

Your first session focuses on getting to know you—your strengths, current challenges, and therapy goals. This allows us to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Who do you work with?

I specialize in helping young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, community violence, and migration-related trauma. I also support individuals seeking performance and mental skills coaching.

  • EMDR
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-Focused CBT
  • Family Systems Therapy

  • And other trauma-informed approaches tailored to you

How long does therapy take?

Every healing journey is different, but many clients notice meaningful changes within 12 sessions. We’ll reassess your progress regularly.

Will I have homework?

Sometimes! Homework allows you to practice new skills between sessions and stay engaged in your growth. Assignments are always tailored to your goals.

How often will we meet?

Most clients meet once a week, though frequency can be adjusted to meet your needs.

Tell me something fun about you!
